Carrots, peas, greens. stuff like that is fine, but remember moderation. Potatoes are super high carb. Avocados were a staple item for me.

However, the key point is that it depends. You need first to determine how many carbs you are eating in a day. Keto is technically anything under 50g of carbs, most people stick between 30-50g. I had most success staying around 20g of carbs.

From there you need to track your food so you can see how many carbs you are at. If your goal is like 50g of carbs, and you have room to eat blueberries, strawberries, a bit of apple, etc go for it.

Over time you will figure out what works for you and what doesn't.


Its an extremely easy diet to follow, and once you have done it for a few months you will get a good sense of what you can eat and what will kick you out of it. Also it becomes more forgiving the longer you stay in it.
