You're saying the Khazars mass migrated from the area between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea *south* 2500 km away to the Middle East to join a people they had nothing in common with and were not ethnically related to.

They were. They were kicked out ! Sviatoslav 1st of Rus from Rurik dynasty destroyed their state,killed many of them including their nobles and priesthood - but some of them unfortunately fled and survived.

By the way Bogatyr Sviatoslav were assassinated by their or byzantine agents at the end,but to this day his deeds are first and true source of jewish hatred towards Russians.

It doesn't matter whether they left of their own accord or were kicked out. Either way, genesicSOC is suggesting a huge mass of people of a single ethnicity migrated to the Middle East. And either way, the idea is ludicrous.
