They defeated ISIS, defeated the FSA, defeated the PKK, they withstood American and Israeli strikes. They withstood every sanction.

Sadly, I doubt this new conflict with Syria is anything more than political theater on both sides - manufactured war to keep Netenyahu from being sentenced in court on corruption charges... which he's been avoiding for almost three years by declaring new wars whenever the hearing dates approach.
