Gaining size comes from lifting heavy and eating. Look into beginner heavy lifting programs like 5x5 or 5/3/1. If youre going to put on muscle i would say keep eating what youre eating. 1-2 grams of protein per lb of body weight. Lots of clean carbs. Once you can squat 315 5x5 i would say you could start cutting.

i've been doing incline push ups for arms and shoulders, also side planks for core and cat-cow for back health and mobility.

what's a good beginner weight for a dumbell? i can get a solid deal on a 10kg dumbell. been using only body weight up until now.
