You're trying to express higher ideals to people who don't understand higher ideals. When we're talking to each other we can talk about our divine mission. But Germans and French don't get it.
It's better if they think of us as neanderthals with very pointy sticks.
I thought you understood that lesson after the vikings came a-viking. Anglo-Saxons are short, brown-haired, blue-eyed, and if you kill one of us we will hunt you down and laugh at your dead corpse. We have a very, very long temper, but when the fuse is lit, we explode with righteous fury.
And yes, when we do go to war, we know exactly how God wants us to fight. You don't mess around with "rules" during war. You beat your enemy into humiliation and remind them why war is a terrible idea, especially with the Anglo-Saxon race.
So far we are the only race to have used nukes in war. And we celebrate that fact.
You're missing Paul's exact message. Germans and French do "get it," but as mostly different tribes of Israel they have very different blessings of God. And no, we didn't hunt down and revenge on every single viking. King Alfred the Great sponsored and baptized Gunther himself when he converted. We do subjugate non-Anglos when we need to, but they are not our enemies and never have been and nor are we superior to them in the eyes of God. Help them. Educate them. Support them. Stop trying to instigate them because you're upset by what they think of you. Use your blessing as God intended.
RE vikings: They would show up an raid, and if they didn't leave fast enough, we would kill them all. The only issue is it took us too long to raise our militias and we often tried to face them before we could get fully equipped and armed. No, we never launched a raid against them.
RE baptising vikings: When they expressed an interest in actually being useful members of society, we would treat them like humans. We would talk to those who would talk, and fight with those who wanted to fight.
RE Superiority: Yes, in God's eyes no one is superior. In practical matters, the Anglo-Saxons have excelled in every measurable way. We started the industrial revolution. We started modern science. The French and the Germans have always been chasing us.
RE what they think of us: I don't care what they think of us. They think we're warmongering bastards, and I'm fine with that. They've fought us countless times, and we've come out ahead in the end. They're bitter about that and I don't care. What I do care is when people think they can get away with trying to hurt us. I'd rather they thought they were dealing with psychopaths.
