RE vikings: They would show up an raid, and if they didn't leave fast enough, we would kill them all. The only issue is it took us too long to raise our militias and we often tried to face them before we could get fully equipped and armed. No, we never launched a raid against them.
RE baptising vikings: When they expressed an interest in actually being useful members of society, we would treat them like humans. We would talk to those who would talk, and fight with those who wanted to fight.
RE Superiority: Yes, in God's eyes no one is superior. In practical matters, the Anglo-Saxons have excelled in every measurable way. We started the industrial revolution. We started modern science. The French and the Germans have always been chasing us.
