I will say though that it used to be a lot worse. I've definitely had comments shadowbanned, but that's a site-wide thing. one of the mods here worked it out a while ago with me because i pasted the same comment here and that's how he figured it out. apparently if you have a comment shadowbanned, it shows up in some separate moderation queue.
