What have we done that is so much more egregious that what the USA has done?, or what Germany or France have done?. Morale is at rock bottom because unlike any other population in the world there is NOWHERE we can go, not even here on one of the last hold outs of sanity and freedom.
Also (I don't expect you to understand this) but not needing to have a gun waved in my face to maintain a civil society was/is a great point of pride for us, you need a gun in your face to force you to act in a civilised manner, as does the rest of the world, we are the only nation on earth to have maintained a civilised state without the need for overt threats of force. Again, I don't expect anyone outside of England to understand that.
Third, you also have a two tier justice system, you are in active combat against it at this very moment, the evidence of which is posted all over this forum.
