I have experienced phantom phone vibrating once or twice but not nearly as much as phantom baby kicks, the latter feels super sweet at first, then nostalgic and then my womb feels very hollow and empty.

I think i could go back to a land line phone.

What causes me to need a cell phone is to be instantly accessible to customers, which helps me run business or make changes to plan mid day or on the fly.

In the old days, i assume people called into an office headquarters and they dispatched repairmen from there. So you'd have to hang out at the office and then dispatch from that location.

I think smart phones, and possibly the data traffic through the airwaves might be frying our brains or at least disrupting them somehow.

I heard theories that the world did actually end in 2000 and we've been in some kind of alternate multi-verse reality ever since. It does seem like shit got a lot worse with technology. Specifically mobile tech.

I want to go back to a time, or to a distant undeveloped place where i don't have to live near cell phone towers and have people be so enslaved to the things.

I am thinking about getting my customers on routine schedules so that i just come to work at the same time every wednesday or thursday at such such specific time and then there is no need for cell phone communication i just show up at the same time every week and give them updates about what happens the next week.

I am going to start trying to maybe leave my cell phone at home or turn it off and go without it a day or two at a time.

I seem to remember something in the unibomber manifesto about him having some kind of disdain for the technocrat dystopian future. It's been a few years since i read it.

i think if you had an open would or a sore and kept an active cell phone near it while it was healing that it might possibly mutate into mole or wart or strange scar tissue or cancerous tumorous tissue.

Yup yup...

I also use to get it on the side of my calf where my leg was against the door speaker in my car.

I leave my phone on silent now. I stopped using vibrate mode 10 years ago when i used to get "phantom texts." I havent experienced anything like it since then.

Thanks I will try that.

I don't like calling it phantom because my skin and muscle is spasming for real. It's not just a mind trick.

How long does she let it ring against her thigh before she answers the fucking thing?

I can work with any power tool and replicate this phenomenon.
