Yes, especially in the steel toaster ovens. Many have multiple features like air fry, dehydrate, bake, broil, etc.

Do all those features actually work though? My parents always had toaster ovens but I only just used them as a small conventional oven.

I use air fry, toast, broil and bake. I have been wanting to try dehydrate but haven't gotten around to it. Many of the "sixteen settings' are things like wings, fries, pizza etc and I have to use my full size oven for those.

For us and the amount of kids we have it makes it worth it, we only have one oven and I prefer not to use it in summer because it heats the house. It makes 8 slices of toast quickly and it's really helpful that it's counter height and kids can do it themselves lol.

Which one do you use? I'd probably get that over an air fryer.

This is similar to what we have (brand and size, though looks newer) and I'm happy with it. This morning the kids used it for toast and bagels, then we baked brownies in it, and tonight we'll air fry salmon. It's really neat, but I didn't grow up with one so I think it's cool lol.

I don't like a lot of "stuff," especially on the counters, so I was able to get rid of the toaster and air fryer and just use this (and my instant pot, which I also love).

Yeah 99% of the time the most useful "tool" in a home kitchen is just more counter space. Even when I have a giant kitchen it'll only have a couple appliances.

Thanks for the recommendation. I appreciate it.
