They seem to assume that Anglo-Saxons were the only Whites and that other European races didnt consider themselves White (they absolutely did). The only instance where non-Anglo-Saxons Europeans weren't considered White is in America, and that was more of Political/National distinction (because "White" just meant "Ethnic American") rather than a Racial one.
