Yeah, I still like the older school guys physiques more though. Frank Zane was one of the last guys I still thought had a “natural healthy” look to him most, if not all of his career.

The late 70s, 80s, and 90s were where everyone started looking ridiculous and bloated all the time. I’m guessing that when slin and GH became the norm.
Yeah, I don’t get it. The only one I kind of understand is a friend who still competes in strongman. He’s young and plans on stopping everything but hopping on TRT when he turns 35. He’s already had the two kids he wanted so he’s good on that front. It’s crazy how tren has become so “normal”. I rmeber when I was young we stroll was a big one, for making great gains without the bloat, but it also dried your joints out like a motherfucker. I don’t really hear too much about that one anymore. If I knew I could get legit primo, deca, anavar along with some sust or test e, I’d probably be down in a few years. The problem is if you’re lucky enough to get all of those, they’re going to be expensive as fuck, specifically the primo and anavar. I just don’t care enough anymore to have to deal with all the shit that comes along with combating all the side effects that come even with the milder stuff.
I agree with that. When I went to the gym twice a day in my early 20's, I looked like a MMA righter, not a comically wide person. Although, I was wide as a door at the shoulders.
Yeah, I was never super lean, but I got crazy strong for my weight, and I never had that bloat lord look that got so popular. From my understanding I was told that I was never super vascular and lean looking because I consumed way too much dairy at the time. I don’t know how true that is, but that’s what I’ve read and been told. I love me some cheese and milk. 😁

I knew from the get go that power lifters and body builders didn't know shit about diet. Their diets were for building mass for show. Eating 6,000 calories a day is not sustainable. Eating nothing but chicken and rice is not sustainable.
Eventually I found German volume training. It's a superior lifting schedule. If you combine that with old school diets, it becomes killer. Old school diet? You know, one giant ass meal at the end of the day and lighter meals in the morning and noon. Sort of like you would have if you were working on a farm.
Dairy products should be in your diet no matter what. I typically just eat cheese. That's how I ingest it. What worked for us for 10,000 years is probably a good idea.
Agreed. I know a couple of guys who juiced years ago, and one of them competed a bit. The only reason they can, and do eat as much as they do is because they’re juiced and can burn calories off faster while also absorbing more of the protein to heal and build muscle. Normal people who try, and do something similar while not enhanced will just put more strain on their liver, and kidneys while shitting and pissing everything out. It’s all so silly now when I look back and think about it.
