Name one issue we've had with allowing other whites to move to America. I'll wait, operators are on standby. You're right, the founding fathers had a standard, but not everything they said was the gospel fucking truth and if you understood anything about them, you'd understand that they themselves knew this and were open to Americans in the future making changes (without completely ruining and disgracing everything, at least). History has vindicated non British whites moving to the US. I'm sure that Washington, Jefferson, Adams and the like would be understanding of this. And claiming that it was meant to be *anglo saxon English specifically* is outright wrong. The Welsh descended settlers arguably were of a higher class on average than the English ones.

They left (northwest) Germany in the 400s. They arrived in England (literally from Angle Land.) At the time there were Britons living there. Within a generation, the Britons disappeared. No one knows where they went, but it is widely accepted that the Anglo-Saxons committed genocide of one sort or another against them.
The Anglo-Saxons lived in distinct kingdoms for a long period of time until the Vikings came. After a series of wars, the vikings eventually won and wanted to stay, so they were granted NORTHEAST England. I believe York was the center of their population. After a long time, many of them left for home, but many stayed.
The Anglo-Saxons became part of a network of kingdoms and all but an empire with other Swedes, Norwegians, the Danes, etc... Because of the inter-marriage happening between the kings of those countries, one of the Normans (NORTH MEN -- MEN FROM TEH NORTH) claimed the kingship and conquered the country of England. (Not Wales. Not Scotland. ENGLAND.) This happened in 1066.
After a lot of things happened, eventually the kingdoms of Scotland and England become subject to a single king, but the peoples of England and Scotland did NOT intermarry and mix very much. To this day, the Scottish people and the English people remain separated by geography, culture, language, etc... A similar thing happened in Wales, and the Welch people likewise remained distinct.
IT WAS THE ANGLO-SAXONS who came en masse to the Americas in the beginning. It was the Anglo-Saxons who became wealthy landowners in the colonies and lead the rebellion against the English king who ALSO ruled over Scotland and Wales.
Were there Welsh and Scottish and such in America? Of course, you could probably find all sorts of people in America. But the Welsh NEVER became the dominant people or the culture here. Hence, the term "WASP" literally "WHITE **ANGLO-SAXON** PROTESTANT" becoming synonymous with white Americans who lived in Northeast US.
As for my ancestors, in particular, we were in northwestern England, bordering Scotland. Because of a rebellion where people in that area wanted independence from England, my ancestors were accused of being part of that. When they executed all of the traitors and no one was left to accuse my ancestors, they packed their bags and left.
They spoke ENGLISH. They were ENGLISH people who had lived IN ENGLAND for as long as we have written records. I have records of my ancestors IN ENGLAND from the 1500s. While Columbus was sailing the ocean and finding America, they were farming and living in ENGLAND. They came to the US sometime in the early 1800s BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE THEY COULD LIVE THEIR ENGLISH LIVES. They met other people WHO SPOKE ENGLISH and had ENGLISH CULTURE and wore ENGLISH CLOTHING and so on.
If we were able to trace their ancestry back to the 400s, almost definitely you'd see that they were descended from the Anglo-Saxons. Probably Saxons given the fact that they are brown hair blue eyed and short, like Saxons always have been.
By the way, the Welsh and Scottish who came to America, what language did they end up speaking? Whose clothing did they wear? What culture did they practice? I know people who CAN trace their ancestry back to scotland. Some of them still hold highland games and know which clan they belong to. Tall, strong, red-haired men who like to wear kilts and blast bagpipes. There are SOME scottish in America. But not as many as you think.

Learn about the difference between borders and heritage first, please. The western English are closer to the Welsh in ethnicity than they are to the eastern ones. Secondly, you're agreeing with me. I stated that the Welsh and English are different in the first place. Read. What is now western England WAS a part of Wales in the middle ages. It became a fiefdom. It was absorbed into England over time. It's racially Welsh.

You have described, in effect, Britons. Go to Ireland or Scotland and you'll see plenty of people who fit the bill. No, the anglo saxons were ostensibly a nordic people. Go to northwestern Germany and Denmark today and you can see modern saxons, their closest relatives today. The English were the same (at least close to) average height of the vikings. The nobility of both the English and the norse were very large indeed.

Holy fucking shit you just described white people who aren't English or nordic integrating and blending into another white society. I thought it was completely impossible. No shit anglo saxon culture is dominant in the states, it's dominant in Britain too. A Scotsman needs to do very fucking little to integrate into American society. Less so a Welshman. That being said, not everyone who practices anglo saxon culture *is* anglo saxon.
My family is from Southeastern England, mostly. Tall, blonde haired, blue eyed. I'm actually of majority anglo saxon descent. The western English aren't anglo saxon. The exact phenotype you're describing is fucking brythonic.
You mix up borders and race continually throughout this reply and the original comment. They're not one for one. European borders were drawn mostly on cultural and linguistic lines. Not racial ones. Northern Spaniards, as a for instance, are closer to British people than they are to southern Spaniards. But they all come from that place where the version of vulgar Latin they spoke would become spanish, therefore they all became part of spain. As it is that the western English are closer to the Welsh or the Scots than they are to their eastern brethren, but all the land was subjugated and all the land speaks English, therefore it became England.
And, as a Southeastern English, old stock American from dixie, whose family has been here since Jamestown. I do say that if other whites (namely germans) had *never* come to the states, we would have found ourselves much sooner a minority in our land than we have at present. We'd have been a minority to native Americans and later mexicans shortly after stepping out of the old colonies if a metric fuck load of germans wouldn't have come over.
You're not anglo-saxon then, you're a celt. Thus likely welsh, in heritage at least. The angles and saxons had brown hair. The celts had blonde or red hair. Don't be ashamed of your celtic history. You may have adopted the anglo-saxon ways. What do you call a man who joins a tribe, adopts their ways, speaks their language, eats their food and becomes otherwise indistinguishable from them? You yourself call yourself an anglo-saxon, and I am sure at some point in your ancestry your people stopped calling themselves celt or welsh or whatever and adopted anglo-saxon as their ethnicity.
