Or more accurately, Christianity is effectively dead and replaced by Liberalism wearing its skinsuit. I would argue WWII was the death of institutional Christianity, though the numerous rebellions against it from the Reformation onward slowly whittled its power to basically nothing beforehand. Of course, the Church always follows Her Head, Christ, we will rise again like He did.
