Islam is a heretical branch of Christianity and wrong about a lot of things, but they are correct in having their women be subordinate, as thats literally what the bible teaches the dynamic should be. The entire Egalitarianism nonsense is from Humanism (which is predicated on the naive denial of human nature being fallen) and is completely alien to Christianity.

I would argue WWII was the death of institutional Christianity, though the numerous rebellions against it from the Reformation onward slowly whittled its power to basically nothing beforehand. Of course, the Church always follows Her Head, Christ, we will rise again like He did.
