They wouldn't receive the 11th man unless there was a vacant cot, nitwit. 3 is already dead before they get 11.
Think with your brain about why you'd serialize things. Do apples get numbered? How is that different from the way your vehicle is numbered? Would you number your underwear? Do your bullets have serial numbers on them?
Think why you'd serialize, then think how they were serialized. Make sense yet?
