It actually started with therightstuff.biz putting an echo-effect on jewish names during their podcast, the parentheses being a visual equivalent.
They also published a browser-extension called the "coincidence detector" that automatically attaches the (((echoes))).

When the echo started appearing more frequently on twitter, jews started using it themselves "in defiance", just like niggers "taking back the word". That's how you got to see things like (((SPLC))) on their official accounts.

Of course, all they accomplished was drawing more attention to the fact that kikes are vastly overrepresented among the anti-whites, so that backfired.
