Saint Francis heard Jesus speak to him from the crucifix: “Go, rebuild my church which is falling down.” Saint Francis would go on to drive out corruption from the Church, instituting changes in practice and tradition that would restore the piety and holiness of the Church for centuries.

Then this snake comes along, takes the name of Saint Francis in mockery, and begins to destroy the Church from the inside out.

Take note how the devil mocks God!
