I have a small collection of Norwegian crown pennies, one of those is worth roughly $0.001. Only thing you could purchase with those was a single piece of candy back in the 50's. Looking at one of them now out of nostalgia I noticed that those essentially worthless coins also have ridges. Somewhere, at some point, a jew was carving the ridges of coins worth 1/10 of a penny. This was back in the days when the monetary value was still higher than the price of the raw material. 🤡🌎
