I understand your point. The issue is that my argument is "inevitable". Kids are not inevitably going to try fentanyl, but they will eventually eat sugar. Fentanyl abuse is rare compared to eating ketchup.

I still think sugar is awful and actually more damaging than these drugs as a whole.

Agreed. To fully fix the problem, the entire food industry needs to be reformed, refined sugar banned, junk food banned, harmful chemicals and food additives banned, and food made healthier. And, the people responsible for this mass poisoning be tried and executed.
