Fish and chips requires a lot of oil for deep frying. And I know that seed oils are bad, but they are cheap, . I can't use olive oil cause its too expensive. So im curious as to what oils you guys use to cook Fish and Chips.

Animal fat is my preferred but I dont always have a lot, i love using coconut oil otherwise, its definitely the best one for the most reasonable price. Also you should just shallow fry stuff like fish, deep frying is fun on occasion but its messy and wasteful.
