Fish and chips requires a lot of oil for deep frying. And I know that seed oils are bad, but they are cheap, . I can't use olive oil cause its too expensive. So im curious as to what oils you guys use to cook Fish and Chips.

I use lard, much healthier than seed oil, and higher smoke point than olive oil. And as long as you strain it between uses and don't burn it, you can reuse it many many times. Just keep the heat high enough, and the food absorbs very little of the fat.
