With Steam, most games runs native, usually no extra configuration needed, but if there are protondb has plenty of information about any issue you may encounter and how to fix it. Games run under wine or proton.

The only game that requires pajeetsoft windows, is nigger games like GTA online.

It actually can, but the anti-cheat will run in user mode instead. For most games this ain't a problem. Some kiked games just want total kernel level control over your system for absolutely no reason.

How we ended up here is a complete mystery, because all the game needs to do is to have some noticing on the server side and nobody would be able to cheat. But instead they try to "fix" it all client side by running kernel level software supposed to detect game modifications, which on pajeetsoft windows could also run in the kernel. A single fuckup and the whole system crash.
