3. That's entirely unrelated, even if this were true it is not like demographics cannot recover.
4. Race mixing, race mixing, race mixing.
They constantly declared war on the English. Jamestown was a peaceful settlement that never made any attempt to eradicate anyone. Natives got pissed off and made war with the colonists every time. America purposefully genocided them, but again it never would have happened in the first place if they were ever peaceful. America would be a mestizo country too if the natives did not persist in war with the colonists.
The Spanish did the same thing, except they were able to secure alliances because of a larger common enemy (the aztecs). Again, in places where the aztecs (or other batshit insane major powers) did not exist it was much the same. Which is why south America south of northern Brazil is mostly white.
