Also, we need to bring back segregated classroom. Segregated based on race and sex.
Up to that point, girls didn't stay in school much past grade 8 but, due to the fallout of the "sexual revolution" they were now trying, and failing, to enter the workforce.
The solution was to claim that the schools were "discriminating" against them and then change everything to favour their learning styles. Think group work (shared blame), discussions, questions with multiple possible answers, vague and emotionally soft grading systems etc.
Two generations of men have been forced to undertake feminised education just to fudge some numbers, and people wonder why men aren't motivated to participate?
And, after all this, why aren't women simply crushing it? Why do outcomes keep getting worse as we remove "descrimination"?
Black boys would actually benefit quite a lot from having a black male teacher who was allowed to discipline them. I don’t even mean spanking - I mean more like “run a lap around the school and the slowest of you has to run again” - that’d quiet a room full of them down to where you could teach them something

The first half is a mix of questions, but the second half changes depending on how well you do; if you do well, there are more difficult questions, if you do poorly, there are no difficult questions.
This means that anyone generally doing well gets lumped into the same level as people who can't pass without help. Equity.
And the province wide pass rate for math is still only 50%. Absolutely no one is talking about this crisis.

I agree. I'm not arguing for complacency or inaction. Just pointing out the options and what they entail. I absolutely agree we need to become violent and active. It's our only option left to fix our problems. It's just that I also think we need to debate and discuss this stuff as well.
