And Muslims in Russia existed because Russia conquered them. It was just Russian "payback time" since part of the Mongols were Islamized...
Why not converting them ? Russia had many problems...
And about the question "how jewed were the Tzars" - maybe not so much since their execution in Ipatiev house looks like kind of ritual sacrifice,and that were the real reason behind canonization by Russian orthodox church

And no,actually they were not Romanovs,as last male Romanov were Peter 2nd who died in 1715. And they were replaced by Germans: "Holstein-Gottorp-Romanow". What is quite strange since "Holstein-Gottorp" and "Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha" replaced most of the monarch families... Were it natural or not ?

By nature Russian muslims without those batshit crazy arabs influence are normal people.
Most of Russian muslims are in fact Asians who were islamised centuries ago and had less clue about arab Islam than Anglican church had about orthodoxy in Russia in XIX century.
