I'm sure most if not all of you are anti vax but I was curious to hear your opinions on this. What is the possibility it could cause autism and other debilitating side effects ?

This is exactly my approach. They basically don't offer much protection at best, cause adverse effects at worse, and ultimately most childhood diseases are not an issue if you have a healthy baby.
A healthy baby is one that is: breastfed by a mother eating a healthy balanced nurtrient rich diet, for a couple years almost. Introducing nutrient rich solids to the baby with breastmilk starting at 6ish months. The baby should also cosleep to be close with mom and or dad. No isolated other room sleeping. And the baby should not be washed too much with antibacterial soaps etc. Just when they are dirty, as most people over scrub newborns and disrupt healthy biofilm, such as the vernix caseosum which is found at birth.
