On the 12th anniversary of beginning of the protests of Syrian Revolution, Bashar al-Assad held a meeting with Vladimir Putin during an official visit to Russia. In a televised broadcast with Putin, Assad defended Russia's "special military operation" as a war against "neo-Nazis and old Nazis" of Ukraine.

Assad ain't perfect, but he is th' rebel that we have.

You get what you get and you do not get upset.

Some of Hitler's soldiers were jewish, that does not mean I will suddenly hate the nazis for not being perfect.

Didnt someone on here post that to modern Russians, "Nazi" just means "foreign insurgent" because theyre still coping over WWII.
