Most of the european countries pay this much for healthcare. In the balkans people pay half of their wages in taxes. And it's not real healthcare. They won't give you real medicine come on. It's just free pills.
So? Anything that is mandatory is a cancer and the government will mostly lie and cheat about it. All that is free from the government becomes shitty, just give it time and see.

Meds that hasn't been slightly altered just to renew patents in order to jew you with usury when you desperately need them are very real and they do work. Take insulin for instance. Very cheap allover the world because the patent expired long ago. Yet the cheap version is not sold in the US.

As for the tax I don't know how much they pay in Balkans, all of those countries are pretty corrupt so my guess is that they pay way more than it actually cost, just like Americans. So, hypothetically speaking, lets say you fall, you have a bad injury, pass out and someone call an ambulance. You have no insurance, and gets slapped with a medical bill higher than Hunter Biden. What do you do? you passed out so you can't really reject the ambulance. This is one of many ways Americans go bankrupt. How's that not slavery if paying tax is, which you already do.
