the claim here isn't that yeah hortler is cool because he did exactly what we are told he did (attempted genocide, murder, muh racism, killed christians, etc etc etc)
the claim is that its untrue that he did those things, so its not advocating genocide or killing christians etc.
so if the supposed judaizers are not advocating for mass murder...isn't doug essentially saying the grievous sin is flirting with historical revisonism? that's not a sin by any biblical metric. you can find a view of history inaccurate or simply in poor taste i suppose, but that's not grounds for church discipline.
hypothetically, lets say Stone Choir is completely in error about history in this area. maybe the mainline account of WWII is completely accurate. ok, fair enough, that doesn't mean they are advocating for genocide etc because they are saying they dont believe it occurred in the first place.
so bizarre because with any other historical event this would be blindingly obvious."
