Who the fuck is estimating this?! There's no way the average American thinks that 92% of the country is in either NYC, TX, or CA.
People they polled, which can be anyone. Tho more likely to be wrong are the people who don't care about politics. NPCs who believe everything the (((media))) says. This is what happens in isolated individualist societies, people don't read stats, they live in their own bubbles. "My bubble doesn't have this problem REEEE", "My bubble has this problem, so i must be nationwide REEEE".

I blame paupers for this. Almost always when you see crackheads begging they are carrying some sign saying they were a veteran. Theyre lying.
But at the same time, its the breakfast question of census. Americans know what the map looks like. They know there are those rural areas. To think theyre too stupid to consider other areas, and use purely anecdotal circumstances is, to me, equivalent to the "but I did eat breakfast this morning".
