I am IN NO WAY advocating for rock sucking. At all. I'm just wondering.

No they are not. Most are shit. It will require some looking at. Most of them come in capsules which i throw out anyways when i make a 1 gallon batch of water. But typically inexpensive. These afe very common minerals so even a good one will not cost to much.
