I am IN NO WAY advocating for rock sucking. At all. I'm just wondering.

Rock have minerals.

Grug need minerals.

Rock have minerals.

??

Plus I might just be a complete retard but occasionally I'll see a rock and some part of my monkey brain wants me to put it in my mouth. What do you think? Based and rocksuckingpilled or retarded?

I'll echo the same message others are saying: If you feel an urge to put rocks in your mouth, your gut might be trying to tell you that you have a mineral defficiency. Take a look at your diet and see if there's something missing, and find out what you can eat to restore it. You don't need a salt lick (what the fuck?), but mineralized water could be helpful. Whatever you do, don't put rocks in your mouth. They'll fuck up your teeth and gums and most likely have parasites, bacteria, or molds on them.

You would definitely end up scraping your teeth if you did it regularly. Plants absorb minerals and they are probably more efficient than we would be sucking on rocks. Eat root veggies.

Yes but they also absorb pesticides and herbicides.

That said the one carrot a month that I eat makes me feel pretty good.

That's true with everything, you wouldn't just put any rock in your mouth either, they get chemicals on them as well.

Also You should look into azomite dust if your serious, it's like the most mineral rich rock and you can just mix it into a drink. I use it in my garden.

Half serious. I'm pretty sure I'm mineral deficient.

I will tell you this.

I feed minerals to my cattle and sheep, and they are much healthier for it. It's not just salt, but other trace minerals. Selenium deficiency, for instance, is a big deal in livestock.

And I think I read the title of a study that suggests that selenium deficiency is linked with homosexual behavior.

It turns out that we can end homosexuals just by giving them trace minerals.

I'll definitely have to look into minerals. I'm definitely not a faggot but it's never unwise to be absolutely sure of these things..

I'll give you one that has changed my life: BORON. I drink about 1 tbsp of 1/4 tsp of borax diluted in a 500 ml of water every morning and evening. Arthritis symptoms are diminished and I think my mind is clearer. The LD 50 of borax is twice that of salt, so you can eat a lot more with no negative side effects, but at this trace amount, it is plenty to give your body all it needs.

Every other year there's some new 'miracle cure' for something or other that inevitably has a bunch of people swearing by it. If even half of them worked we'd all have thirty inch long dicks and live to 400 years old by now.

dude, just eat better, don't eat fucking rocks. you might have some deficiency or other so check what's missing from your diet that shouldn't be and fix it. if you're eating really well and still have weird cravings go to some doctor you trust and get some crap checked out, you might have some absorption deficiencies rather than not enough intake.

Silica is a mineral and it's also utterly worthless.

The only thing I ever heard sucking on rocks is good for is staving off drymouth if you're mildly dehydrated in a survival situation.

What do you think a remineralization RO filter is 😂
JesusSupporter33 on scored.co
1 year ago 2 points (+0 / -0 / +2Score on mirror ) 1 child
I don't trust it because it was put together by man.

I've been drinking straight RO water for 11 months with no mineralization.

You make a valid argument. But do some reasearch into a very good quality mineral filter. Drinking straight ro water is not good. It pulls all the minerals from out of your cells until their is a balance in the fluid in your body. Your cells will go hypotonic

JesusSupporter33 on scored.co

Not really.

There's scarce instances where I'll come across a smooth, light grey rock and grug brain wants eat. But it's not like I'm having a conundrum every time I walk the creek bed.

You get essentially all your minerals and electrolytes from food, not water. The leeching effect is miniscule and I'm pretty sure you'd only be able to tell a difference in someone already hypocalcemic.

You realize rocks aren't actually comprised of some nutritious balanced blend of "minerals", right?

Your average river rock is almost entirely silicon and oxygen by mass.

Gypsum has a lot of calcium in it, but if you wanted that, you'd need rocks stratified with gypsum deposits.

Of course.. Anything water soluble would have dissolved out of the rock long ago. But there's something grug want from these rocks...
