They think that everyone before them was just dumb.
They put modern sensibilities first, and then in hubris try to conform Christianity to those values.
They cherry pick verses and distort their meaning to support current year thinking. Jesus said "love your neighbor" and "go out unto all the world" so that means import the entire world. Jesus said to share the good word with "all nations" so that means there shouldn't be nations and we should race mix into one single mud nation.
I personally know a couple of priests who say these things in private but would never explicitly preach it from the pulpit. There aren’t a lot of them, but just because they aren’t preaching about it doesn’t mean they don’t believe it.
If (((Modernists))) weren't in control of the Vatican, the Popes would be re-iterating this regularly. The one-two punch of the Holocaust narrative and Vatican II created a generation of "Catholics" who had no idea of the faith they had inherited and who were more afraid of the jews than of Christ. Even worse, Vatican II permitted the use of Heretical "translations" of the bible based on the (((Masoretic Text))) instead of the Septuagint and Vulgate, and these translations are now more common than the official Vulgate authorized by the Church. The Vulgate is pretty clear that the jews are reprobate, and Christians are the Chosen Race, and that Canaanites and Hamites (browns, including jews, and blacks) are cursed by Noah for the sins of their fathers, even if it is possible for them to repent of them. If you look at the Masoretic translations, they do everything in their power to deny the reprobation of the jews, and are rife with modernism and attempts to explain away anything that might seem miraculous (especially the Creation account) using the fake version of history thats been forced on us since the French Revolution. I hope, after the boomers finally die off, the spirit of Modernism will die off with them, because anyone who has a pair of eyes can tell Modernism has utterly ruined the Church.
