He is my Rep. They poured half a million into the primaries to defeat Massey but he trounced his opponent anyway. He will survive. He could run for Senate and win as McConnell should be retiring soon.

The problem is that people get a whiff of a single based elected official in a sea of 100 senators, 435 representatives, 9 supreme court justices, and think "we can vote our way out of this".
