Men (actual men not trannies) use fiction as aspirational escapism. We don't want to be represented as themselves in it. Women are the opposite and need fiction to be representative or more like an idealised version of their own experiences. They lack this calling to heroism and to greatness that men feel. As such as media becomes feminised, it has to become "inclusive" and "relatable". Heroic fiction is seen as fascistic and problematic because it is at odds with the zeitgeist.

Since gamers are overwhelmingly male, they are never going to win this battle, which they will never understand because they believe sex differences in the brain are environmental rather than deeply hard-wired.

The only people who give a shit about inclusivity are the ones that should be excluded
