I can turn off the ad window that pops up after opening? How do I do that?

Also, Anon didn't mention being able to add "non-Steam games" to steam, especially the pirated ones that my library is full of.

On GNU+Linux it runs as a separate process, so all you need is a launch script that wait for it to open, then instantly kills it.
