Slippery Slope can be fallacious but only when it's used in a manner that typically starts with Step 1 and only Step 1, with no prior historical or logical basis otherwise. An example is "Putin will invade Europe and conquer Poland!"

A) there's no historical reason to believe that nor any indication at all from Russia that fits at all in their objectives,

B) there's no logical reason since Poland is part of NATO and Russia's dumpy military can barely handle Ukraine.
