Currently work part-time as janitor while finishing my bs in cs and I make pennies, so I've been trying to find a new job for the last year and have gotten exactly NOTHING. This summer alone I must have applied to dozens of different places and it amounted to fuck all. So I thought, "well, maybe I should just wait until I graduate and try to find something", so I started looking into tech jobs.

EVERYTHING IS AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE. LICENSES IN THIS OR THAT. NEEDING COMPTIA A+ AND OTHER SHIT. Basically, if you aren't already experienced, get fucked. Even if I didn't hate coding, I couldn't find a entry level software job either, they ALL had similar bullshit requirements. The tech industry is so fucking oversaturated it's insane, why was I fed this lie that this was where the big money is? I wish I could go back in time and stop myself from going to college at all and instead go into a trade.

At this point, I don't know what to do. I hate this gay country.

CS is an oversaturated market. You need to do something to stand out from your peers without experience which is going to be certs. I'd recommend going the security route as there will always be demand.

IT is where the big money is. One of my friends develops random AI projects for $400k+/yr. But he's very intelligent and has a great portfolio on top of virtually every cert that's relevant to his field.

Having just a BS in CS is basically like just having a BS in psychology.

You could also try looking for positions at small startups that don't have experience requirements to gain experience and start developing a portfolio/resume. Versatility is king in the IT sector, most people will change jobs every year or so to build out their resume with all kinds of different fields/specialties.

Best of luck, faggot.
