Currently work part-time as janitor while finishing my bs in cs and I make pennies, so I've been trying to find a new job for the last year and have gotten exactly NOTHING. This summer alone I must have applied to dozens of different places and it amounted to fuck all. So I thought, "well, maybe I should just wait until I graduate and try to find something", so I started looking into tech jobs.
EVERYTHING IS AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE. LICENSES IN THIS OR THAT. NEEDING COMPTIA A+ AND OTHER SHIT. Basically, if you aren't already experienced, get fucked. Even if I didn't hate coding, I couldn't find a entry level software job either, they ALL had similar bullshit requirements. The tech industry is so fucking oversaturated it's insane, why was I fed this lie that this was where the big money is? I wish I could go back in time and stop myself from going to college at all and instead go into a trade.
At this point, I don't know what to do. I hate this gay country.
Also keep in mind when you apply to a job, you will be competing with literally thousands of hindus who flood every company in White countries with resumes. Companies are starting to figure out that hindus are worse than satan, so you will need to do more than "fire and forget"/sending your resume to get a job.
If you work as a disk nigger in a data center you may be able to keep your job for 10 more years or so before being replaced by a robot.
Driving related jobs will be around for a few more decades at least as AI can't really replace drivers yet, and it will struggle to do so.
The best jobs you can have right now is a tradesman job, carpenter, plumper, welder, electrician, elevator repairman and so on. These are well paid jobs, requires minimal skills to start and you learn over time, and they're physical and tricky hence nearly impossible to be replaced by AI so there will always be work.
Higher education is a waste of money unless you live in a country with public education, then it's just a waste of time. You'll literally educate yourself for a job that won't exist in larger quantities once you're done. But if you do wanna go down the CS line, start your own business and provide a service, that's the best way to survive.
