Well, it is possible that the swimming pool was for the Germans or that it was not meant to be a death camp when it was first built.

Or maybe they actually were re not swimming pools. That "death camp" was built far away from fire hydrants, so maybe the "swimming pools" were actually water reservoirs that were meant to put out fires, but people swam in them all the same.

Clinics and orchestras still sounds like a very ineffective death camp, though.

Auscwitz 1 had the swimming pool that low IQ folks here love to bring up.

Auschwitz 1 was built as a labor camp, then repurposed into an army barracks. It was then later repurposed as a place for jews.

The pool was very popular with the inmates. If they missed their chance for a daily swim, they'd say "Aw, schwitz."

You misunderstood.

Auscwitz 1 was built way before the nazi party took over. It served as a camp for laborers.

It was then converted to army barracks. More time passed.

Then it was used to house jews. Soon, it couldn't take the intake, and auscwitz 2, the death camp, was built.

It's like fine wine, the longer we keep them alive and fed and housed and entertained and doctored and cleaned, the more horrific their jew deaths will be. Duh, makes perfect sense.

Yes, you need people alive to experiment on them.

Poison gasses were tested here, as well as a ton of well document unethical tests. Do you know why pilots have extra padding and heat preservation on the back of their necks where the brain connects with the spinal column? The nazis froze jews to death and found keeping that 1 spot warmer led to a higher chance of survival. The tests were for saving down pilots.
