Demons are evil.
That being said, there are works of fiction in which demons *are* made as just another race, where they really are not evil and simply "misunderstood", and they can do that, because it's fiction.
But in Frieren, demons are literally psychopathic "fellow humans" who only learned to use words like "help" to deceive humans.
This soy faggot just subjectively *wants* them to be the good guys, just as he wants jews and niggers to be the good guys in real life, when they're objectively evil.
Fun fact, this poor demon girl he is crying and simping about was actually leading an army of ***literal undead*** to ambush and slaughter everyone in the town they pretended to be friends with, and the undead themselves are the remains of the townspeople who died fighting the demons in the past.
