The funny thing is, they appear to have actually subverted it. This persons expectation was that the demons were going to be misunderstood villains ("they just learned this behaviour to survive"). But that turns out to be wrong, and demons are by their very nature irredeemable and evil

The actual moral of the story would be that demons are inherently evil and must be destroyed, but the puppet masters behind Liberalism and all it portends are literal demons, meaning that liberalism must pretend that demons can be saved (despite the fact that demons *dont want to be saved*).

That being said, there are works of fiction in which demons *are* made as just another race, where they really are not evil and simply "misunderstood", and they can do that, because it's fiction.
But in Frieren, demons are literally psychopathic "fellow humans" who only learned to use words like "help" to deceive humans.

There has been a crusade to remove all racial differences in D&D for the past few years. D&D having a mechanical difference in strength between a giant orc and a tiny gnome means Gygax was racist to these cultural parasites.
Its ridiculous, but the even funnier part is that (((they))) dont understand the entire point of D&D is that you can do whatever you want. Most people homebrew their own ruleset, and there was never anything stopping people from ignoring or swapping around the racial bonuses.
