I find it weird that America has some of the widest roads in the world, yet is one of few countries that mix fast traffic (cars) with slow traffic (bicycles) on the same roads which are built like highways. Segregating modes of transport is just as important as segregating races.

Lots of intermixing with vehicular traffic. Though, they have a lot more "Bike Only" sections too. That guys channel demonstrates you can get deliveries out just as fast, if not faster, with a bike/scooter than with a car.
I'm in a city with an extremely snooty "bicycle culture," where a disproportionate number of the insufferables described are the ones on the bikes, and there are a ton of them.
I spend all day urban driving for work, and I can not understate how they are the *bane* of my existence.
i understand that some people can not afford anything else and i am fine with those people, but for most it's a choice.
