They really dropped the ball on that meme. It's not "survival of the fittest" unless everything alive is "the fittest", which destroys the superlative.
It's "survival of whatever fits". Evolution isn't a "top percentile" test, more pass/fail, or really a check system.

✅️: offspring around replacement rate (3 for Whites)
✅️-: offspring beneath replacement rate
❌️: no offspring
Applies equally to all sexual species.
Nash's theorem makes the excellent point that cooperation is a highly competitive strategy. Genuine evolutionary morality is communitarian, not individualistic. Both individualism and conformity are subversive. We can only fully bloom as unique and essential parts of our interconnected community.
