Yea, it's a decent off road truck still. Bit expensive tho. 👌

I too prefer utility over luxury when going off road. But how's the F150 better? They both cost about the same nowadays, and here in Europe the Ford is sold with their shitty "eco boost" engine which fails reliably after 5 years. Just after the warranty ends. Least the Mercedes got a proper twin turbo diesel that runs forever.

First truck with ecoboost or do they make them different in the states? I know four different people who had complete engine failures due to sudden rapid oil leaks with that particular engine. Every single time it happened after 5 years, just after the warranty expired.

For my needs any regular old car runs fine on gravel roads, forest dirt paths as well as snow, I'd probably never buy a proper off road vehicle, especially not a luxury one. Studded tires and snow chains are superior over AWD, wouldn't wanna go too fast on slippery roads anyway.
