First truck with ecoboost or do they make them different in the states? I know four different people who had complete engine failures due to sudden rapid oil leaks with that particular engine. Every single time it happened after 5 years, just after the warranty expired.
For my needs any regular old car runs fine on gravel roads, forest dirt paths as well as snow, I'd probably never buy a proper off road vehicle, especially not a luxury one. Studded tires and snow chains are superior over AWD, wouldn't wanna go too fast on slippery roads anyway.
How is it different? I haven't done any off-roading by vehicle myself, hence why I stick to the dirt tracks and gravel roads. I'm also sure Ford doesn't sell much 3-cylinder engines in the US, at least not in their pickup trucks.
