Unfortunately, I think due to their location the dog won't have to lift a finger. South African is fucked and circling the drain. Yes, but you can only move there if granted residence. There's an application process. That way they weed out undesirables. You have to demonstrate your Afrikaner credentials, show you align with Afrikaner values, be fluent in Afrikaans, etc.
It pisses me off that they call their language "Afrikaans"

Professional translator here - no it's not Dutch. The vocab is similar, but the grammar structure is very different. Afrikaans did not just evolve from Dutch but also has strong links to French (French Huguenots) and German. For example, like French (which I cannot speak btw) Afrikaans has the double negative. (I don't like him not, I'm not going to work tomorrow not).
Pretty much, I just dont like that they named it after niggerland.
