While I generally oppose the consumerism of ads, I still maintain the belief that if an anti-consumerist needs adblockers to use the internet, they need take a break to develop some patience and lengthen their attention span. Do I recognize that ad culture is harmful to society? Of course. But can I ignore ads and click "skip" or "close"? Of course I can. You don't need to let ads affect you. To me, they're a bug or leaf in the wind.

It's foolish to assume that you are immune to their tactics. What percentage of people think they *are* effected by ads? I'd wager not many. And yet, the ads do have a strong and measurable effect on consumer habits.

This also reminds me of boycotts, see every time an attempt is made to boycott a brand, they only tell you what brand not to buy. Notice how nobody mentions the alternatives, if people need the product and don't know what other vendors sells it the boycott has essentially failed. And that's the true danger of ads.

As long as you have no default (((merchant))) in mind when thinking of a specific type of product, you'd be forced to search for vendors yourself, and will easily find the alternatives who are superior compared to kikes who spam ads 24x7.

The problem with boycotts, is people will buy alternatives ... but those alts are owned by the same parent company that's being boycotted.

Example - Bud Light.

AnBev also owns a shitton of other popular brands that many people switched to.

I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree. See ads doesn't affect your attention span in itself, it's the brain rot coming from consooming too much degenerate content.

The internet has plenty of good content too, but we need to be able to access that without being bombarded by degenerate ads while doing so. If you have to watch a 20 second ad for fried chicken before you can view a 10 second clip of Uncle Adolf who do you think you'll remember? The Führer speech or that damn chicken. This is how the nigger brain is programmed.

I'd remember the Fuhrer because that was the content I clicked to see. I really don't understand this mentally. How can you be that easily distracted?

Imagine being on an anti-consumerism forum and advocating for people not using an ad-blocker.

Imagine being on an anti-degeneracy forum and advocating for people being impatient and having short attention spans.

Your attention span should not be devoted to advertisement.
