Government spy tells populace that government is spying on them, not offering solutions, and essentially creating tacit acceptance in the population that they are being spied on by daddy big government. Anybody with half a brain already knew that we were using DARPAnet, only Dunning-Kruger retards like you found it to be some big revelation.
The sad fact is that it's actually YOUR type of obnoxious, overly opinionated, most-often-wrong personality type that people can't stand. Everybody smiles to your face because most people are genuinely kind, but we all talk to each other about how PraiseBeToSoyience is an annoying, smelly, neck beard when you aren't around.
You see, normal people can live their lives knowing other people have wrong opinions. I don't give a shit what fairytales others believe in, and I can get along just fine with them, regardless. But it keeps you up at night knowing that somebody smarter than you doesn't abide by your delusional worldview. It shakes your pathetic little existence to the core.
